Christmas in Paris is a beautiful unique shopping experience that welcomes the start of the holiday season, in the quaint charming town of Paris Ontario. Over thousands of visitors get excited for this enchanting event every year. In 2019 enjoy the handcrafted work of the local artisans which include quilting, fibre arts, knitting, wood carving, pottery, watercolor and acrylic painting, silk scarves, and more!

Holiday Bake Sale & Tea

Ichthys Theatre Productions Presents The Wind in the Willow

The Ichthys Theatre has been putting productions on since 2000, and they have a whole new set of productions this year! Come and watch The Wind in the Willows Directed by Lorna Stratton and based on the story by Kenneth Grahame. This production is about a wealthy frog who loves to drive cars, but he can’t control his incredible urge to drive fast, so he crashes. He buys another, and crashes again. This goes on to the point where he runs out of money and steals someone else's car and crashes. So he goes to jail, he gets out because of his charming wit. He goes home to find weasels overtaking his house so his friends help him get them out of his house. He is restored to his former glory but can he resist the urges of the car speeding down the lane?

On Sunday, November 24, Rock My World Canada will present the inaugural Brantford Music Expo & Fundraiser to benefit My School Rocks! This event combines local and Canadian musical promotion, with vendors and visitors having the opportunity to learn more about the Canadian music scene while supporting a worthy cause. Special guests for this event include: Alan Cross, radio personality and host of The Ongoing History of New Music, Ruby’s Revenge, Eddie G TV, Ashlynn Designs, Uforia, and Brantford’s own Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.

Without Glenhyrst’s beautiful lit gardens Christmas just wouldn't be the same, it is a highly anticipated annual event. With the official “switch on” on Friday, November 29, 2019 it goes through till January 1, 2020. Although the event is free there are collection bins for the Salvation Army Food Bank and Brantford Food Bank.

The Brantford Potters Guild is hosting their Annual Christmas sale, November 29, 30 and December 1 at Woodman Park Community Centre. There are over 30 local potters who sell their unique pottery, so there is something for every taste, like stoneware, porcelain, and raku. In support of Brantford food bank, the potters made handcrafted soup bowls that are available for $20.00 a bowl. The proceeds then go to the food bank.

What’s Christmas without the JCI Santa Claus Parade? The 45th Annual JCI Santa Claus Parade will be held on Saturday November 30 at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Brantford. The Santa Claus parade is always full of fun and festivities for the whole family! Even though the admission is free there are lots of opportunities to donate to one of the charities partnering with them.
