Enjoy the sounds of Arcady, a local choir group that combines young Canadians with professional instrumentalists and singers. Offering 25 to 30 performances in Southwestern Ontario each year, Arcady puts on all kinds of shows on from a small recital to a full scale choral-orchestral concert. They are known for their energetic and imaginative performances of early music and the regular chorus for Boris Brott’s National Academy Orchestra of Canada. They also have a program for young people who want to learn how to perform and perfect their voices.
Want to hear them in person? Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26, 2019 because Arcady will be having their 20th Anniversary Celebration Concert! Listen to performances by Ronald Beckett, Charles Demuynck, Greg Walshaw, Nick Peros, and Katerina Gimon. The concern begins at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrews United Church at 95 Darling Street. You can purchase your tickets online for $30 if you are an adult, or $12 for students. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
