Certain cities are known for being the ideal destination for a particular type of food or beverage: Philadelphia has its cheesesteaks, Seattle is known for great coffee; Montreal has its smoked meat; Chicago boasts its deep dish pizza… and Brantford has amazing poutine (seriously – hear us out). If you’ve been following any of the great new Facebook pages that have popped up to share local eats (we love Brantford COVID-19 Business Delivery and Food-to-Go in Brantford-Brant Area), you’ve likely seen hundreds of photos of unique variations of the traditional Quebecois dish, featuring French fries, cheese curds and brown gravy.
We’ve rounded up some of our favourites, but we’d love to hear where in Brantford has your very favourite poutine. Share your photos on social media, and remember to tag the business and #BrantfordTogether so we can drool along with your friends.
