The city’s biggest party takes place July 1, 2015 at Brantford’s Canada Day Celebrations. The festivities begin with Brantford’s Citizenship Ceremony at 10 a.m. in the Lion’s Park Arena. The community celebration continues with a full day of live music, food and entertainment finishing with a fantastic fireworks display at 10 p.m.

New this year is the It’s an Honour! exhibit. This free mobile exhibit is travelling it’s way across Canada to honour those exceptional Canadians who have achieved excellence through bravery, valour and service. Also new this year is the chance to get a bird’s eye view of the City of Brantford in a helicopter. Rides are 7 to 9 minutes with an outstanding view of Brantford's Canada Day celebrations. Helicopter rides are available for 3 passengers at a time from 12 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting. Cost per person is $50.00 or $120.00 for all 3. Must be 2 years of age or older.
