Opening the Doors to Dialogue Opening Ceremony
Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Woodland Cultural Centre – 184 Mohawk St., Brantford

The general public is invited to the Opening Ceremony to the three day workshop project led by Samuel Thomas, through a series of beadwork sessions provides a framework for open dialogue combined with creation of a monumental artwork.  The finished project will be the result of former residential school survivors, their descendants and aboriginal and non-aboriginal community members and will contribute to future open dialogues. Through this creative process the project is intended to assist in the healing process. The finished artwork will be displayed as an exhibit. Permanent Collection Exhibit at Glenhyrst

Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant maintains a significant collection of more than 700 art objects of historical and contemporary importance.
