45th Annual Brantford Lapidary & Mineral Show

Saturday, April 1 & Sunday, April 2, 2017

10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Paris Fairgrounds 139 Silver St., Paris

Admission: Adults $5.00, Kids 12 and under are free

The 45th annual show will feature “calcite” and host exhibitors and distributors of gem, mineral, fossil and stone collections. Lapidary equipment, supplies, fine jewelry, and beads will all be available for purchase in addition to a silent auction. “Mine for Gems” and “I Dig Fossil Fish” activities will be available for children of all ages.

Brantford Symphony Orchestra Presents Mozart’s Concerto with Flute and Harp

Two of Canada’s premiere soloists, flautist Leslie Newman (also the BSO’s Principal Flute) and harpist Erica Goodman, together perform one of Mozart’s most popular Concertos, in the marvelous sanctuary at St. Andrew’s United Church. Two other works by Mozart, a Cassation, and Symphony #29, will fill out the program, making it a delightful Amadeus evening.

The 35th Annual Brantford Rotary Classic Run is a tradition for many families and schools in Brantford, the County of Brant, and surrounding communities. Over 34 years, through the Rotary Classic Run, the Rotary Club of Brantford has been able to raise over $2,200,000 for local special needs children and community projects such as the Lansdowne Children’s Centre and the Boys & Girls Club of Brantford.
