Hop Over to Your Local Museums for Easter Fun

If you’re looking for family friendly events locally this Easter weekend, look no further than some of our local museums for fun for all ages. The Easter bunny will be visiting Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead in St. George, and Myrtleville House Museum in Brantford on April 14 and 15.

Friday, April 14, 2017 from 10:00am to 1:00pm

Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead, 359 Blue Lake Rd., St. George

Easter egg hunt, a petting zoo, and the Easter Bunny too! The Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead in St. George has four easter egg races planned throughout the day, with the first race starting at 10:30am. Enjoy a petting zoo with baby chicks, bunnies, goats and ponies, meet the Easter Bunny, and enjoy Victorian inspired crafts and games, face painting, balloon animals, and more. There will be a silent auction/raffle table for children and adults, and even cookie decorating. The cost is $20 per family (includes up to four children) (cash or cheque at the door), and some activities are by donation to participate. Myrtleville House Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:30am (tours at 11:00am and 12:00pm)

Myrtleville House Museum, 34 Myrtleville Drive, Brantford

Brant Historical Society’s Myrtleville House Museum presents their annual Easter Egg Hunt with fun for all ages. The hunt will start at 10:30am sharp. Remember to BYOB (bring your own basket!) to participate in the hunt, and enjoy free crafts and face painting before and after the hunt.
