If you live, work, or are thinking of relocating to Brantford, one of the major draws to this community is the breadth of the community’s artistic talents. However, we don’t all get to enjoy these talents as frequently as we may like. Thanks to The Crew Real Estate along with a group of amazing sponsors, they are bringing exciting, show-stopping, local acts to the stage of the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, May 6 at 7:00pm.
The Breath of Fresh Air Talent Show was created to bring not only a “breath of fresh air” into the arts industry in Brantford, the County of Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River, but also to raise funds for the City of Brantford’s Tree Planting Program.
The Crew organized a call for auditions in early 2017, and received an overwhelming response of unbelievably talented singers, songwriters, comedians, dancers, and entertainers. Twelve fantastic finalists were chosen, and their audition videos can be voted on online.
The twelve finalists are: Benjamin Dakota Rogers, Faith Sharpe, Kylie Angel, Sarah McCulloch, Sarah Moore, I’m of Vintage, Deaf the Animal, Timmy Boyle, Megan Kirkby, Zoe Bentley, Rachel Senko, and Taylor Flinders. The grand prize is $5,000! To listen to the auditions for a preview of the show, click here to open a new browser window.
Tickets for the Breath of Fresh Air Talent Show are $30 (adult), $20 (student/senior), or $15 (child under 12). Tickets can be purchased at the Sanderson Centre box office, or online by clicking here.
