On May 18, hundreds of people gathered at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts to kick off the Brantford Celebrates Canada 150 series of events for 2017. The Brantford Celebrates Canada 150 is a yearlong program of free special events and celebrations you will not want to miss.

Canada 150 Community Parade & Party

Harmony Square

Start your 150 celebrations with your family by watching the Canada 150 parade that starts at 4:00pm and ends with a community party in Harmony Square.

The Brantford Celebrates 150 Tour continues with a free David Wilcox concert at the historic Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.

Brantford’s famous Canada Day festivities are extended for an extra day in celebration of Canada and Ontario’s 150th birthday this year. Enjoy a free country concert, presented by OLG, featuring Ty Baynton, The Abrams, and Jason McCoy, as well as an amusement midway with rides and games, dozens of talented local food vendors, a shopping market place, the Made in Ontario exhibit, and much more.

Happy 150th birthday, Canada! Be part of Brantford’s biggest celebration of the year with a free rock concert featuring headliner The Tea Party, presented by OLG, and a fireworks display. Two stages, including the Young Canadians Stage, will feature music all day. The Campbell’s Amusement KidZone, Made in Ontario exhibit, Rotary Beer Tent, hundreds of food and retail vendors, and the exciting midway will entertain your family all day!

To celebrate the Bell Memorial’s 100th anniversary, a Rededication Ceremony will take place on October 24, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate this milestone.
