Tantalize your tastebuds at the Brantford International Villages Festival with yummy foods and cultural entertainment. A flurry of activity kicks off at Harmony Square in downtown Brantford, including Music in the Square and Movies in the Square. You are going to love Brantford in July!

Join Brantford’s biggest celebration with a day full of fun featuring a free rock concert and dazzling fireworks display to celebrate Canada Day 150 on Saturday, July 1, 2017. The Tea Party headlines the entertainment followed by fireworks at 10:30 p.m. as residents are invited to celebrate their pride for the nation at Brantford’s Canada Day 150 Celebration.

St. George Canada Day Celebration

8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

St. George Legion, 9 Main Street N., St. George

Admission: FREE

Join us in the village of St. George as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation. Pancake breakfast at the Firehall hosted by our firefighters and St. George Lions. There is time to go home and help the kids decorate their bicycles for the contest, which will be judged on Main St. in the afternoon. Entertainment will start on Main St. at noon. Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead will be offering tours of the home on Blue Lake Rd. and offering horse and carriage rides in downtown St. George. South Dumfries Historical Society will be offering historical walking tours and of course there will be birthday cake! Plus, don’t forget to come for a delicious fish fry dinner at the Legion followed by fireworks!

Bell Summer Theatre Festival

On the 10th Anniversary season, the Brant Theatre Workshops will be bringing the Bell Summer Theatre Festival to audiences once again. The theatre space is on the grounds of the Bell Homestead National Historic Site and admission to all performances is on a pay-what-you-can basis. This year the plays offered include: Snow White and Not the Usual Dwarves, Merchant of Venice, and Walk in my Moc’s.

 Glenhyrst Art Gallery Summer Camps Begin

Weekly Camps (5 Full Days) run July 3 to September 1, 2017
