Vintage Jewellery Sale is a "Groovy" Event

Submitted by: Robert Hall, Robert Hall Originals

Journey through half a century of jewellery designs and styles, July 21 to 22 during the Giant Jewellery Indoor Yard Sale at Robert Hall Originals in St. George.

Do you remember shoe clips, scarf clips and rhinestone brooches? Every piece has character and a unique story. “These jewellery pieces might even bring back some memories.” says Betty Parry, co-owner of Robert Hall Originals. “Robert began accumulating his jewellery creations from the 1960’s, early in his career. Over the years, he has designed and made many lines of fashion jewellery that have sold to Holt Renfrew, Mappins etc. He has also acquired collections from other jewellery artists.”

The sale will showcase vintage pieces, costume jewellery, metal, semi-precious, one-of-a-kind, and over runs, many being handmade by Robert. There will be 1000’s of pieces on display and for purchase. Visitors can sort through trays filled with necklaces, pendants, chains, rings, earrings, metal, bangles, bracelets, belts and even bolo ties.

The staff has had great fun sorting through boxes of jewellery, and newly acquired estate material, getting them ready for display. Robert finds enjoyment sharing the history of the items that are being re-discovered. Each piece of jewellery has a unique story. To enhance the event, Betty has found some of her mini dresses and psychedelic clothes from “the good old days” to display.

Admission to this event is free. For more information about Robert Hall Originals Giant Jewellery Yard Sale, please call 519-448-1236 or visit the website
