The City of Brantford was pleased to welcome over 150 cyclists from the Great Waterfront Trail Adventure on August 10th as they made their way through Day 5 of their 7-day journey from Point Pele National Park to Rouge National Urban Park in Scarborough – a distance of 530km. The riders hailed from across Ontario and the US, and were welcomed with a rest stop at historic Mohawk Chapel by staff from Tourism Brantford, Six Nations Tourism and the Hamilton Halton Brant Regional Tourism Association.
Cycling tourism is a growing sector for tourism in Ontario, and with its exceptional trail network Brantford is an ideal cycling tourism destination.
