Bell Homestead National Historic Site
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Bell's 1870's home comes to life amid the warm glow of candles and oil lamps as we celebrate our most favourite time of the year. The historic home will be decorated for Christmas as Eliza Bell would have done over 100 years ago. You'll see how many of our present-day traditions emerged in the 19th century. Staff, students and volunteers will take you on a merry tour through both the Homestead and Henderson Home. Fresh samples of holiday baking from Eliza Bell's kitchen stove will tempt your taste buds while live music of the season will set your toe to tapping in the drawing room. Children will enjoy making a Christmas craft. Don't forget to visit our museum store with lots of great stocking stuffers available! Admission is by donation. Read More
