The Brantwood Farms barn has been rebuilt from the ground up, and Ghost Encounters is proudly returning from dusk until 11:00 p.m. on October 20, 21, 27 and 28. Prepare to be frightened as you daringly experience the Haunted Hay Ride and Barn and let the nightly entertainment get you into the spooky spirit. The cost is $10 for the hayride or $5 for the barn. All proceeds from the event go to Participation House in Brantford. Brantwood Farms is a family-owned and run farm open May to December with baked goods and the opportunity to pick-your-own strawberries, apples, and pumpkins during harvest time. Pick-your-own strawberries in mid-June and July, and apples daily throughout September and October. Brantwood Farms grows a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. From asparagus to strawberries, sweet corn, apples and pumpkins, they carry seasonal home grown and local produce sourced from their network of local producers. Fresh from the oven, you'll find fresh bread, cookies, pies, dumplings and pastries made with seasonal produce. They also carry a variety of locally prdouced products including jams and jellies, crackers, spices and pickles.
