The City of Brantford Economic Development and Tourism Department is now accepting applications for the 2018 Community Cultural Investment Program (CCIP).
Funded by the City of Brantford, the goals for the Community Cultural Investment Program are:
- to provide operating financial assistance to not-for-profit organizations within the Brantford arts, culture, and heritage community;
- to encourage public awareness and appreciation of culture; to increase access to quality local cultural programming; and
- to enhance the quality-of-life of the citizens of Brantford.
The CCIP program has two streams: Annual Operating Grants, and Core Operating Grants/Museum Funding Agreements. Annual Operating Grants provide smaller grants for operating, programming, and administrative grants. These annual grants are for organizations that provide cultural programming as their primary activity. Core Operating Grants are 3-year operating grants that provide stability to established core cultural organizations.
The Brant Community Foundation makes recommendations for funding, and applications are assessed based on the following criteria: community benefit, activities, and services offered, management and fiscal responsibility, and volunteer involvement.
