Brantford’s own Personal Computer Museum invites all Potterheads to join them to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter on November 18, 2017 from 10am to 4pm. Admission to this event is by donation and all ages are welcome.
Enjoy live magicians, hands-on video games, and fabulous entertainment by local Guinness World Record holder Doug Hunt. Dress up in your very best Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin house attire, and have your costumes graded by a lineup of local judges – Ed McMahon (Jewel92), Sean Allen (Brant News), and Kathryn Goodhue (Brantford Public Library).
Located at 13 Alma Street in Brantford, the PC Museum is Canada’s only interactive personal computer museum. The museum is home to the Canada’s largest collection of computers and video games in Canada, and holds a massive collection of magazines, books, software, and other interesting artifacts. The PC Museum has over 50 interactive computer displays, and there are at least 5,000 artifacts on display in the museum at any given time.
The PC Museum also recycles old computers at their monthly open houses, and they run a free local computer giveaway for people in our community in need. They are always on the hunt for unique artifacts to add to their collection, and have a most wanted page on their website; check your storage to see if you can help them grow their incredibly unique collection!
