Love Your Neighbourhood? Attend a Jane’s Walk Brantford Information Session!

Do you love walking through Brantford’s diverse neighbourhoods and trails? Are you a Brantford booster who loves sharing information about your community? Community Living Brant is looking for walking enthusiasts, community builders and Brantford Boosters like you to participate in Jane’s Walk in May 2018.

Founded in 2007, Jane’s Walks are a series of neighbourhood walking tours named in honour of urban activist and writer Jane Jacobs. The Walks take place annually during the first weekend in May and are free guided walks led by volunteers who have an interest in the neighbourhoods where they live, work or socialize. They encourage people to tell stories about their communities, explore their cities and connect with neighbours. What better opportunity to learn more about your community and meet others who love Brantford as much as you do?

Community Living Brant is hosting two information sessions in January for those interested in learning more:

  • Wednesday, January 17th from 6:30-7:30pm OR
  • Friday, January 19th from 10:00-11:00am

Both sessions will take place at 440 Elgin Street in Brantford. For more information, join the Facebook Page or contact Sara Collyer (saracollyer@clbrant.com) or Rishia Burke (rishiaburke@clbrant.com) at Community Living Brant.
