At the council meeting on January 30, 2018, the City of Brantford was honoured with a beautifully painted depiction of the Grand River to acknowledge the Corporation of the City of Brantford's "25 Years of Giving" to the Brant United Way.

While all donations to the Brant United Way are invested in locally identified priority areas, approximately 45,000 citizens, or 1 in 3 citizens, will be helped by 18 member agencies who deliver services and programs for those in need in our community. For many of these agencies, the support from United Way is crucial to continuing their operations.

Thanks to all staff who donated for your support and a VERY SPECIAL THANKS to Economic Development & Tourism’s very own in house Brant United Way champion Kim Petitti who has been leading the donation drive charge for the City for 15 years, and Councillor John Utley who has served as a campaign cabinet member for 11 years. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!
