The 25th annual classic race experience, the Paris to Ancaster Race, is back again for another year. This year’s race is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 2018 – rain or shine!
This race is inspired by the famous Paris to Roubaix race in Europe, where cyclists counter challenging historic cobblestone roads to race from Northern France to the border of Belgium. The Paris to Ancaster Race challenges riders to brave the roughest farm lanes, trails, and gravel roads in the area during the unpredictable southern Ontario spring weather. This classic race experience brings together the largest field of riders assembled in Canada and is enjoyed by everyone from the average rider to Canadian Olympians.
If you’re not much of a racer, but still love to ride, consider registering for the P2A20 Family Ride in support of St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation. Although this one isn’t a timed race, you still get to enjoy some of the same rides that the racers enjoy, including the Martin’s Road Hill. Whether you choose to ride on your own or with a team, every dollar you raise will be supporting vital healthcare research. Click here to register to raise funds.
Thinking of joining the race? Keep in mind that on-line registration closes the night of Monday, April 23 and registrations will not be taken the day of the event.
