This year the Guide has received a fresh, bright makeover with vivid colours, featuring engaging images of the region’s many assets and amenities. The cover has also been updated with the call to action, “Explore The Grand,” inviting visitors to experience all of the interesting and entertaining eco-tourism attractions within our communities.
“This collaborative guide showcases the very best of our communities along the Grand River; as neighbours, allies and partners we welcome the world,” said Janis Monture, Director of Tourism & Cultural Initiatives for Six Nations Tourism.
The guide features an array of interesting “Did you know?” facts about Brantford, Six Nations of the Grand River and the County of Brant in a new, easy to read and fun layout. You’ll also find Signature Experiences unique to our area, under themes like Game Day, Fresh Air & Fresh Eats, Out On the Town, and Capture Culture. All these experiences are laid out with suggestions for what to do, where to eat, and where to stay. We are excited to announce the new addition of a coupon page, which features savings on activities, dining, and accommodations. The guide is rounded out with local festivals and events, an overview map, and accommodations information.
“The Explore the Grand Signature Experience Guide is your guide to the very best attractions in Brantford, the County of Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River. Our communities are incredibly unique, and offer countless experiences to explore our rich cultural history, enjoy delicious dining experiences, and take in our breathtaking landscapes. It’s the perfect time to experience what we have to offer,” said Sara Munroe, Manager of Tourism and Marketing for the City of Brantford.
In total, 60,000 Explore The Grand Signature Experience Guides have been printed and will soon be available in high traffic areas such as hotels, restaurants and signature attractions throughout Brantford, the County of Brant and Six Nations of the Grand River. Guides will also be distributed through the 400-series highways and border cities. Copies of the guide can be picked up at the Brantford Visitor and Tourism Centre, County of Brant offices or Six Nations of the Grand River Tourism.
“The County of Brant is thrilled with how this collaborative project brings the best of our area together in one place. This project aligns with the County of Brant Tourism call to enjoy all the ‘Good Times In Brant’ by leading the way in being ‘Rich In Culture & Adventurous In Nature!’” said Russell Press, Supervisor of Tourism and Special Events for the County of Brant.
