The City of Brantford is pleased to invite you to participate in national Tourism Week from Sunday, May 27 to Saturday, June 2, 2018. Widely known as an initiative that brings attention to the economic opportunity made available to Canada through travel and tourism, Tourism Week
recognizes tourism organizations, businesses, and other partners across the country for their contribution to the Canadian economy.
To celebrate Tourism Week this year, Tourism Brantford will feature local attractions and business in Brantford on social media. Follow us @TourismBrantford on Facebook and watch out for our Tourism T-Rex – he’ll be making his way around Brantford and enjoying some of our unique signature experiences. We will be posting using the hashtag - #TourismTRex all week and the community is encouraged to follow along for chances to win a great prize.
To enter the draw, social media users must:

- Like our page
- Comment and correctly answer one (or more) of our daily trivia questions
- Share our post (for an extra entry)
“Tourism Week is a great way to celebrate what makes our community so special. Start exploring your community by visiting our websites – DiscoverBrantford.ca or ExploretheGrand.com – or come to see us at the Brantford Visitor and Tourism Centre. We love to recommend local signature festivals, events, and dining experiences, and we encourage you to chat with the staff and volunteers there to learn more about these gems in Brantford,” said Sara Munroe, Manager of Tourism and Marketing for the City of Brantford.
Natalie Walker, Tourism Information Coordinator, adds, “Our goal is to help increase awareness of our area’s unique signature experiences, and also have some fun in the process. Getting the community involved and having them help promote Brantford as a destination benefits both our industry and local economy.”
Tourism Brantford seeks to maximize tourism potential for the City of Brantford and provide support to the area’s tourism industry. In 2017, we welcomed over 46,000 visitors to our community to attend events and explore attractions, resulting in an economic impact of over $5.3-million.
Tourism Brantford thanks all of our participating partners for their generous donations.
