2018 marks the 160th edition of the Paris Fair, which has been acknowledged as one of the top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario for 2018 by Festivals and Events Ontario. For years this fair has brought families together to celebrate rural life through grandstand entertainment, agricultural displays, craft exhibits, livestock shows, midway rides and more.
The Paris Fair is presented by the Paris Agricultural Society and each year the Fair welcomes over 80,000 visitors.
As per tradition, the fair takes place at the Paris Fairgrounds (139 Silver Street, Paris). Hours of operation are:
Thursday, August 30th - opening at 6 pm
Friday, August 31st - opening at 6 pm
Saturday, September 1st - opening at noon
Sunday, September 2nd - opening at noon
Monday, September 3rd - opening at noon
2018 features events such as Bracelet Day on opening day, where you can pay one low price that will get you 7 full hours of ALL-YOU-CAN-RIDE Campbell amusement rides! Saturday’s special event feature is the Little Reptile Zoo featuring Diversity of Living Things, and Sunday is when we welcome Cannan Smith all the way from Nashville, TN to perform on the main entertainment stage at 8 pm. Andrew Hyatt, a is Canadian hailing from Sudbury, will be his opening act. This impressive country concert is included with your Sunday admission fee.

Adventure seekers won’t want to miss the Freestyle Motocross show along with the Craz E CrewStunt Team, who will perform daily from 12pm to 2pm and at 6pm. On Thursday, the truck pit party will take palce, where you’re given the opportunity to meet the drivers, get autographs and take selfies with the Monster Trucks! If you’re feeling extra adventurous, take a ride on the monster trucks for an extra $10!
New this year to the fair is the option to skip the lines and purchase your tickets in advance online. You can visit ticketscene.ca for more information, and passes are now on sale. Early bird passports are available for purchase until August 29th. Admission for children under 5 is free as well as parking at the Fairgrounds.
