St. George AppleFest

St. George AppleFest

Autumn is upon us, and one of the best things about fall (in our opinion) is the St. George AppleFest!  This annual festival returns for another year on the weekend of September 15th & 16th, 2018.

Named as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals by Festival & Events Ontario, this festival offers something “a-peeling” for everyone!  Main Street in St. George is transformed into an apple-loving oasis, where vendors offer tons of unique shopping, on-going entertainment, delicious foods, and activities to be enjoyed by the whole family.

St. George is blessed with apple blossoms in the spring and a fresh crop of apples in the fall. At this time of year the community "comes alive" when they host this fantastic festival.  This event is always enjoyed by people of all ages, as they stroll leisurely along Main St. and purchase fresh apple pies, candy apples, apple cider, apple butter, and bushels of delicious local apples, of course!

In the designated Children’s Area, families can enjoy activities such as pony rides, inflatable bouncy castles, games and more. Bring your picnic blanket and relax under the autumn sunshine with family and friends.

Free Parking is available at Elliott Soccer Field, located West of St. George on Highway 5.  A free shuttle will be available to drop patrons off in the heart of the festival.  Click here to access an AppleFest map on their website.

Join us in the small town of St. George and experience the charm and entertainment of AppleFest. For more information, please visit https://www.stgeorgeapplefest.com or their AppleFest Facebook page.
