Paris Fair

Named as one of the top 100 Festivals in Ontario by FEO, the 160th Paris Fair is back with all of their traditional favorites, from the action-packed midway to new and classic games, delicious food, and lots more! 18th Annual Golf Tournament for Participation House

Admission: $130
Come out and swing your clubs in support of a great cause.  Shotgun start will commence at 11:30 a.m., and social hour will follow later with a raffle table and steak dinner.  

Six Nations Fall Fair
Friday, September 7 to Sunday, September 9, 2018
Opens at 11:00 a.m. each day
Gaylord Powless Arena, 1738 4th Line, Ohsweken
This celebration is a family fun event with exhibits, food vendors, a midway, Smoke dance competition and a demolition derby.  It will be the 151st edition for the Six Nations fall Fair, and one surely not to be missed! 

10th Annual Brant Waterways Hike, Run, Ride for the River and Trails

The Brant Waterways Foundation is pleased to annouce the 10th Annual Hike, Run, Ride For the River & Trails event.
Events will include: 
*Free Kids Fun Run!

- 5k Walk/Trail Run
- 10k Run
- 16k Run
- 16k Trail Ride 
- 60k Road Ride 
Bring the whole family out to celebrate the world class trail system and natural beauty of the Grand River watershed.  Funds raised from this event go towards the completion of community based projects which aim to preserve, protect, restore, and improve the Grand River, its related water bodies and adjacent lands in Brantford, the County of Brant and Six Nations.

Harvest Festival

The Brantford farmers Market was established in 1848, and has been a long-standing Brantford tradition ever since.  Come out and enjoy all the fresh, locally produced fall foods that Brant County has to offer.  Bring the family for some fun photo opportunities, and soak up some of those last summer sunshine rays as you do some shopping.

The Burford Agricultural Society is once again hosting vendors on the Burford Fairgrounds - so come early for all the good deals and explore what this giant flea market has to offer.  There will definitely be awesome deals to be found!

Brantford Burst 5K Run

Brantford and District Civic Centre, 69 Market Street South, Brantford
2018 marks the second annual 5K run of this un-timed, colored, fun run for people of ALL ages.  Join participants at the starting gate behind the Civic Centre on Sunday morning. The scenic course follows the Grand River, looping at Birkett Lane and returning back to the Civic Centre parking lot. This year you can stop at the 5K mark or keep going for the bonus run!

Brant County SPCA Open House

This is definitely one event where you can bring your furry friends!  Family photos can also be done with your pets; enjoy a garden tour, BBQ and local vendors!  Dr.  Kelly Mark will also show ways to use essential oils with your pets.

Brant Colours Plein Air Event

Syl Apps Arena, 51 William Street, Paris
Admission: Early bird registration until August 31: $45.00, After August 31: $60.00.
This is a unique four-day show where artists gather along the beautiful Grand River to capture its beauty on canvas. Registration is required, and a grand prize of $1500 will be awarded in Paris.  This event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the autumn colours thanks to our preserved Carolinian forest. 

Brantford International Jazz Festival

The Brantford International Jazz Festival is a festival that celebrates jazz and its culture.  They are passionate to promote awareness and appreciation for the many diverse forms of jazz.  From its early roots in the Ragtime era to present day, jazz encompasses many distinctive styles.  With four stages providing a continuous lineup of free entertainment, they are able to provide world class entertainment from diverse backgrounds - Traditional Jazz to Big Band Swing, to Spanish and Afro-Cuban grooves on the main stage, local area talent bringing their particular mode of jazz - Bebop to Fusion to experimental on the Queen Street stage and the talents of the next generation of jazz artists and the ever popular Dixieland Stage.  They invite you to make the trip to Harmony Square for some great music and good vibes.  With over 20+ bands providing continuous free music during the day, a good time is guaranteed! The Saturday night headliner is always a major attraction and not to be missed.  

Special Olympic Truck Convoy

This Truck Convoy is a celebration of the Trucking Industry in support of Special Olympics. It is a unique one-day event so be sure to come out and visit!  A celebration will follow the convoy which includes lunch, awards ceremony, prize draws, family entertainment and much more!

St. George AppleFest

Named by FEO as one of 2018 top 100 festivals and events in Ontario, savor all things apple while enjoying entertainment, artisans and local fare.  Saturday night will also host a FREE street party from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  FREE parking also available.

Brantford Terry Fox Run

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Run begins at 9:30 a.m.
The Terry Fox Run is a non-competitive event where people get together as individuals, families, and groups to raise money for cancer research in Terry's name. It is a day of celebrating Terry's legacy and helping to keep alive his dream of finding a cure for cancer.  Terry Fox Runs take place in over 9,000 communities across Canada every year and are accessible to anyone with no entry fee, no minimum pledge and a non-competitive atmosphere. Participants can run, walk, blade or bike and most of all have fun while raising funds for cancer research.

45th Kinsmen Car show

Join us for one of largest car shows in southern Canada!  This annual car show and swap meet helps to raise funds for charities like Cystic Fibrosis.

Tapas, Tastings & Tunes

Admission: $60 in advance
Come and mingle with other guests in a casual setting while being treated to delicious wine and beer tastings paired with an array of hors d'oeuvres, pizza, and desserts and more. The evening's entertainment will feature Darren Boudreau, a local musician, who specializes in live acoustics.  The night will also feature a silent auction, and a heads or tails game. This event is in support of the Brant Family and Children's Services Foundation and the funds are primarily used for their education programs, camp programs, and special projects, which are established yearly from a need from the agency.
