Brantwood Farms Transformed for Fall Festival

Brantwood Farms Transformed for Fall Festival

Every fall, Brantwood Farms (251 Powerline Rd., Brantford) transforms for its annual Brantwood Farms Fall Festival. This family friendly event is open from 11am to 5pm on September 22-23 and 29-30; October 6-8, 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28.

Test your puzzle-solving skills in the corn maze (1 ticket) – a four acre maze filled with characters to find along the way, or dive through hay to find the “needle in the haystack”. Test your aim by bowling with pumpkins, or test out the apple slingshot to shoot targets up to 200 feet away. Do you have a favourite animal or character? If your kids have lots of energy, they’ll love the straw obstacle course, or the pumpkin bounce track. Looking for a bit of a scare? Get your face painted like your favourite spooky character, or visit the haunted barn if you dare.

Tickets are available for attractions, which cost 1 to 4 tickets each. Tickets are 2/$5, 10/$20, 28/$50, or 60/$100.

Brantwood Farms also offers pick-your-own apples at this time of year; you can’t get any more fresh and local than twisting a delicious Honeycrisp apple right off the tree!

Make sure you don’t forget to stop at their store market before you head home; this shop offers delicious baked goods and baskets upon baskets of local produce. Fresh from the oven, you’ll find fresh bread, cookies, pies, dumplings and pastries. They also carry a variety of locally produced products, like jams and jellies, spices, pickles, and crackers.
