Fall is finally upon us. The crisp air invites us to be outside and enjoy nature’s beauty as the leaves fall from the trees just waiting to be jumped on. There are so many ways to enjoy the autumn season and the Bell Homestead NHS is ready to bring you the best of it with two exciting events at the historic homestead. So put on your coziest fall sweater and bring your appetites for an incredible meal and exciting adventures. 

Thanksgiving Weekend Dinner
Saturday, October 6, 2018, 5:00 pm
Join the staff of The Exchange Café as they present you with all the traditional favourites that will fill your soul (and tummies) with an incredible meal.  An entree featuring turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce, fresh fall vegetables and delicious dessert awaits you in the charming café. Tea and Coffee are also included. 
$40 per person (including tax). 
Children 8 and under $20.00.
 
Hallowe’en Fun Fair
Sunday, October 28, 2018, Noon – 3:00 pm
Complete your fall season with a Hallowe’en event that is sure to please. Come in costume or come as you are to join in the outdoor fun of this family-friendly day that has so much to offer and something for everyone. There will be Hallowe’en fair games including Three Coins in the Potion and Mummy Bowling, a fortune teller will gaze deep into her crystal ball to see what the future holds for you, become a piece of art with the beautiful designs from a face painter and don’t miss the chance to explore the grounds of the Homestead with a pony and wagon ride.  Admission is free, but don’t forget to bring loose change to play the games.
