Save the date for the 2019 Heritage Day Workshop on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 8:30am to 4:30pm at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.
The theme of this year's workshop is "Brantford: Celebrating our Past, Building our Future." Registration is required to attend this full-day, lecture-based workshop.
The Workshop will feature three discussion panel topics: Industrial History, Indigenous and Military History as well as Cultural Revolution.
A screening of the Virtual Tour of the Mohawk Institute Residential School will take place. This is the first time it will be screened outside of the Woodland Cultural Centre and includes mature themes and content may not be suitable for everyone. The Heritage Day Workshop is organized by the City of Brantford in partnership with the Heritage Working Group. The Heritage Working Group helps organize the workshop in partnership with municipalities, other agencies and volunteers.
Paid public parking lots and time-limited free on-street parking can be found in the area surrounding the Sanderson Centre. Nearby parking lots are pay ($8/day) and display.
