WHAT DOES A DAY AT GLENHYRST ART CAMP LOOK LIKE?
A typical camp day at Glenhyrst includes:
-The completion of three art projects per day, all related to the weekly theme.
-A balanced day format for meals and snacks.
-Two recreational periods, for campers to enjoy the great outdoors surrounding Glenhyrst, with organized play and games (weather permitting).

Lifesaving Sports Camp (8 to 15 years)
This camp offers your child a recreational intro to lifesaving sport skills. It teaches team building, fair play, ethics in sport and responsibility. Lifesaving sport competition opportunities are available through an end of season TeleGames scheduled separately, as a fun and friendly way to challenge the kids in the sport events that they have learned and practiced during this camp. Your child needs to bring their bathing suit, goggles, bathing cap and towel each day. We do sell goggles and bathing caps but limited amounts are available.

Kids in the Kitchen Camps (9 to 14 years)
Kick it up a notch and learn to be a chef for your family and friends. This camp will teach food prep, measurements, reading and following recipes, organization, care, cleanliness, presentation and creativity. The best part-you get to sample your work! You will need to bring some ingredients.

Swim Lessons
Swim Lessons at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre are a great way for your child to improve swimming skills and complete or work towards their next swim level. Register online.
 
Swimming
The Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre has added extra swims over the break to keep everyone busy and active! Public swims are offered daily 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and length and family swims 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15. View full swim schedules online.
 
Ice Skating
There is a lot of activity happening in the arena over the break at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Cost is $2.00 per person 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Dates include; March 12, 14 and 16. View full skating schedules online.
