On April 27, the Brantford Writers' Circle and the Brantford Public Library are bringing together some of Brantford's most successful authors and aspiring writers for a full day of networking and development. The Pen, Polish & Publish Author's Symposium will offer workshops on writing, methods for improving technique, and the steps involved in getting your work published. The featured authors at this year's symposium include Marsha Skrypuch Sean Dixon, Carl Wilson, C.A. King, and Larry Brown.
The Symposium is free to attend, and includes a welcome package, an all access pass to keynote speaker presentations, plenary discussions, workshops, and the Author's Expo, as well as light refreshments. You can also choose to attend the Author's Banquet, which includes dinner at the Sherwood Restaurant and presentations for and by prominent local authors for $40.
Although membership to the Brantford Writers' Circle and/or the Brantford Public Library is encouraged, it is not necessary to attend.
Registration for this event, whether you are planning to attend the symposium, both the symposium and dinner, or dinner only, is required and can be done online or in person at the Brantford Public Library.
Published authors may also wish to reserve a table in the Author's Expo. Please contact Robin Harding at firstname.lastname@example.org or 519-756-2220 ext. 356 for more information about participating in the Expo.
