Ready, Set, Go! Brantford Rotary Classic Run 2019

Ready, Set, Go! Brantford Rotary Classic Run 2019

The 37th Annual Brantford Rotary Classic Run will take place on Sunday, April 28th, 2019 at the W. Ross MacDonald School in Brantford.

The Brantford Rotary Classic Run is a tradition for many families and schools in Brantford, the County of Brant, and surrounding communities. Participants will have the choice to run or walk 5km or 10km on a pre-designed route. All completion times will be listed on the website alongside participants’ classmates or coworkers as elementary schools, high schools and companies compete for bragging rights. Each participant who raises over $50 in funds will receive a Classic Run t-shirt.

In addition, several other awards will be handed out. A cash prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the first place male and female runners who beat course records. All finishers will receive medallions and first place finishers in each race will receive plaques. The Overall Pledge Award will go to the top fundraising male and female elementary student, with each recipient receiving a bike from The Bicycle Shop and a mini tablet sponsored by Enterprise Brant and Ludlow’s Menswear.

Over 36 years, through the Rotary Classic Run, the Rotary Club of Brantford has been able to raise close to $3 million for local special needs children and community projects such as the Lansdowne Children’s Centre and the Boys & Girls Club of Brantford.
